Mirta Klaić is a senior associate who specialises in tax law. She advises clients on the tax implications of planned transactions and business models; tax liabilities of foreign companies that are operating in Croatia, and analyses implications of permanent establishments. She also gives tax advice regarding cross-border transactions between affiliated and unaffiliated companies, employment contracts with cross-border elements, as well as tax and other liabilities of seconded employees, management board members and CEOs. 

In addition to legal and tax transactional advisory, Mirta represents clients in communication with tax authorities, in tax inspections and other procedures as well as in dispute resolution before administrative courts.  She works with the EU law on a daily basis in the area of taxation, coordination of social security system and seconded employees.
Mirta Klaić joined the team on a student traineeship in 2016 and became an associate after graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb the same year.
