CMS Belgrade advises BMTS Technology (former joint venture of Bosch Group and MAHLE Group) on opening of new manufacturing plant in Serbia

CMS Belgrade has been providing comprehensive legal support to BMTS Technology, one of the leading global manufacturers of exhaust turbochargers for the automotive industry, in starting their business operations in Serbia. 

The construction of new BMTS Technology’s manufacturing plant started in the second half of last year. The plant is located in Serbia’s second largest city, Novi Sad, about 75 km north of Belgrade, and spans ca. 24,000 m². The production is planned to start in summer 2020 with the capacity of around 2 million exhaust gas turbochargers. The investment into the project is estimated at nearly EUR 50 million.

The CMS Belgrade team engaged to advise on this project is headed by Managing Partner Radivoje Petrikić and includes Senior Attorney Dragana Jandrić (real estate and construction), Partner Maja Stepanović (corporate and commercial matters and state aid), Attorney Jelena Đorđević (corporate and commercial) and Senior Tax Lawyer Ivana Blagojević (tax and employment matters).
