CMS advises Porsche Engineering on acquiring a stake in Rimac
The leading global car company Porsche has acquired a ten percent share of the Croatian technology and sports car firm Rimac Automobili. CMS in Wien and Zagreb advised Porsche on the complex transaction.
Under the leadership of Johannes Trenkwalder in Vienna and Hrvoje Bardek in Zagreb, CMS has advised the global car manufacturer Porsche Engineering on its acquisition of a stake in Rimac Automobili d.o.o. and Greyp Bikes d.o.o. One of the CMS team’s tasks was to conduct comprehensive due diligence. In the context of its electric car offensive, Porsche has acquired ten percent of Rimac and is aiming for a close developmental partnership. Rimac develops and produces components for electric vehicles and itself manufactures an electric sports car.
