Saskia Leopold graduated from the University of Vienna’s Faculty of Law in 2013. In the course of her studies she completed an elective subjects module in Law of Culture as well as an Erasmus semester at the Università di Bologna. She spent the longer part of her studies working at a law firm with a focus on the SEE market and also completed an internship at the Austrian embassy in Belgrade and worked for an art insurance company.
She also gained practical experience working in the legal department of the auction house Sotheby’s in London. After completing her LL.M. at Columbia University in New York in 2015 with a focus on law of culture she joined CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz as an associate in the same year. In her work she specialises in intellectual property (trademark law, copyright law), competition law and law of culture.
