Adrien specialises in ICT law, advising domestic and multinational clients on all aspects of data protection, software licensing, cloud computing architecture, e-commerce and cybersecurity. He is also regularly involved in matters of commercial litigation, defending clients in cases of IP/software infringements, termination of distribution agreements and unfair market practices.

His computer programming skills (Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, SQL) allow him to deliver tailored advice on a blend of legal and technical issues faced by clients. Adrien is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), the world’s preeminent credential in the business of privacy in Europe.

Adrien has written about the rise of artificial intelligence in the legal sector. As a result, he founded Incubateur.legal, the body within the French and German Bars Association of Belgium tasked with helping lawyers navigate the digital era. In addition, Adrien assists in the coordination of the Electrochoc Numérique conferences cycle.

Adrien joined CMS in 2016, after experiences in the Banking & Capital Markets practice group of Linklaters LLP and in the emerging LegalTech sector.
