Editorial

Dear reader, In these trying times, it is more than ever important to develop creative ideas and successful strategies. Proximity to one’s clients and excellence in execution are crucial aspects of a winning strategy. You can rely on us to inform and advise you of opportunities and issues affecting your business, but also to listen to your needs and deliver on them.

We believe certain developments and potential opportunities; such as the use of subsidiaries, acquisition of ailing businesses, research and development incentives, older employee productivity and energetic self sufficiency at company level; are being overlooked and might warrant more attention. These are the issues we plan to discuss on our progressive dinner “Préparer les développements de demain”, at the Cercle du Lac, on 3 June 2010. The evening will be introduced by, Minister of State, Melchior Wathelet.

In this month’s the newsletter our lawyers cover recent national and European case law, among which private copy levies, but also new legislation in such fields as: co-ownership and energy efficiency of buildings in Wallonia.
