10 things every insurer should know about Central Eastern Europe

01/09/2014

The aim of this brochure is to provide an informative introduction to the key areas of concern for an insurer when considering establishing operations in 14 jurisdictions of Central and Eastern Europe – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Whilst we do not set out the definitive requirements for an insurer wishing to gain a foothold in the region, this guide serves as a backdrop against which CMS can offer a cohesive and commercially realistic, solutions based approach to expanding your operations.

We hope you find the information both useful and interesting; we welcome your feedback, questions and comments.

For further information about our insurance team and how we can help you, please contact any of the CMS offices listed at the end of this document. Please also check our CMS Expert Guide to insurance law here.
