CMS advises CCC Group on the acquisition of the majority stake in Karl Vögele AG, Uznach

Zurich – The CCC Group has signed an agreement to acquire 70% of the shares in Karl Vögele AG, Uznach. Simultaneously, Max Manuel Vögele, executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, increases his stake in Karl Vögele AG, Uznach from 10% to 30%. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first half of 2018.

Karl Vögele AG, Uznach is a Swiss family business headquartered in Uznach, Switzerland. The company, under its brands Vögele Shoes, Bingo Shoe Discount and Max Shoes, offers an attractive portfolio of women's, men's, children's and sports shoes in complementary segments. The group employs around 1200 people in more than 200 locations and operates an active, fast-growing and successful online business. With this partnership the CCC Group adds a new market to the CCC sales network in Europe.
