Aline Wey Speirs is a senior member of our Dispute Resolution Team. Her practice focuses on litigation, international commercial arbitration and enforcement law. She advises and represents clients at all stages of the dispute resolution process.

Aline Wey Speirs specialises in resolving complex international law issues. She has represented clients in multijurisdictional trust litigations, commercial disputes, employment disputes and family law matters. In addition, she has broad experience in enforcing judgments and arbitral awards.

Aline Wey Speirs has been practicing with us since 2006. Recently, she has completed an LL.M. at the University of Melbourne (H1) and worked with QC Wendy Harris shadowing her and assisting with legal research and analysis, on several occasions on matters including the Black Saturday class actions, the end-of-licence compensation claims brought by Tabcorp and Tatts against the State of Victoria (recently on appeal in the High Court of Australia and currently reserved) and a current shareholder class actions brought against ASX200 companies.

Before joining our firm, Aline Wey Speirs served as a law clerk at the District Court of Horgen. Subsequently, she was appointed as associate judge of the District Court of Horgen and in this capacity tried a variety of commercial and family law cases until 2013.
