Amanda is a commercial associate specialising in the TMC sector. She has detailed knowledge of the regulatory regimes across the TMC industry under the PRC laws, and has rich experience in advising clients on compliance matters and other issues commonly involved in their daily operation. Amanda is also experienced in assisting clients in handling IP licensing, IP transfer and other cross-border IP transactions.
Before joining CMS, Amanda worked for a top-tier PRC law firm where she was involved in various e-commerce and “internet of things” (IOT) projects, and provided practical legal advice to both domestic and foreign companies.
Amanda obtained her bachelor's degree of law from Renmin University of China School of Law, and her doctoral degree of law (J.D.) from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Amanda speaks Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
