CMS Hasche Sigle advises Porsche on land purchase to extend its main production facility

12/01/2012

Stuttgart – Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche Aktiengesellschaft has acquired a ten hectare site from DELTONA Real Estate. The car manufacturer intends to extend its operations to the site, which is already developed and directly adjacent to the main Porsche plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, and to invest considerably in further development.

A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partners Dr Dirk Rodewoldt and Dr Volker Zerr advised Porsche on all aspects of acquiring the site.

The area has until now been part of the Xcel Campus, formerly occupied by Alcatel Lucent AG. Going forward, some aspects of site management will remain centralised, which represented one of the legal challenges of the transaction. Part of the acquired site is currently leased to Bosch and Thales. Porsche itself had also leased part of the site.
