CMS Hasche Sigle advises on IPO of Firstextile AG

Frankfurt/Main – The shares in Chinese Firstextile AG are expected to start trading on the strictly regulated Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 12 November 2012. All 1.8 million shares will be allotted at EUR 10.00. The gross offering proceeds amount to EUR 18 million.

CMS Hasche Sigle advised Firstextile AG on the IPO as Issuer's Counsel with an international Team led by Philipp Melzer (Lead Partner) in close cooperation with experts from the Shanghai office led by Dr. Ulrike Glück. This reinforces CMS' leading position in supporting Chinese companies seeking to list on Deutsche Börse. Since 2007, CMS provided support to all larger IPOs of Chinese companies on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, advising ZhongDe Waste Technology AG, Asian Bamboo AG, Vtion Wireless Technology AG, Joyou AG and Powerland AG as issuer's counsel.

Firstextile is one of the leading manufacturers of high-end yarn-dyed fabric in the Chinese market. The company markets fabric and shirts being used for uniforms by Chinese government institutions and enterprises as well as its own branded
men’s shirts for the Chinese premium market segment. In 2011, the company's revenue amounted to EUR 131.7 million and the consolidated profit to EUR 23.9 million.
