CMS advises ABB on acquisition of gomtec GmbH

Stuttgart – ABB has acquired gomtec GmbH, a company headquartered in Seefeld near Munich, through its Mannheim-based group company ABB Automation GmbH. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The Stuttgart office of CMS Germany advised ABB on all legal aspects of the transaction via a team headed by lead partner Dr Peter Baisch.

ABB is a global leader in power and automation technologies. The company enables its customers in the energy supply, industry, transport and infrastructure sectors to improve their performance, while at the same time reducing their environmental impact. The companies that make up the ABB Group operate in around 100 countries and employ some 140,000 people worldwide.
