CMS advises Cofinimmo SA on acquisition of care home in Lüneburg

Stuttgart – The Cofinimmo Group is adding to its healthcare portfolio in Germany by acquiring the Christinenhof property in Lüneburg for EUR 12.6 million. The nursing home is operated by Casa Reha, part of the Korian Group. Built in 2001, the property comprises 6,100 square metres of space and a total of 140 beds.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Stefan Voß advised Cofinimmo on all legal aspects of the acquisition. This is CMS’s first completed acquisition instruction on behalf of the international real estate firm.

Brussels-based Cofinimmo Group is a leading Belgian property company that specialises in healthcare real estate, offices and sales distribution networks, such as cafés and restaurants. The company has a property portfolio with a total area of more than 1,802,000 square metres and a value of EUR 3.4 billion. Cofinimmo operates in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany.
