CMS advises IT consultancies PIGES and Brunckhorst on sale of consulting firm Nielsen + Partner to Larsen & Toubro

Hamburg – PIGES Process Integrators Gesellschaft für Organisations- und IT-Beratung mbH and Brunckhorst Unternehmensberatung GmbH have sold their shares in Hamburg-based consulting firm Nielsen + Partner. The buyer is the German subsidiary of Indian company Larsen & Toubro Infotech. The parties agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Henrik Drinkuth advised the sellers on all legal aspects of selling their shares.

PIGES creates and implements organisational concepts, develops and sells software, and takes stakes in other consulting firms. Brunckhorst Unternehmensberatung likewise operates in the IT consultancy space and invests in other consulting firms.

Hamburg-based Nielsen + Partner is an independent application consultant for Temenos WealthSuite wealth management software. With its presence in banking and wealth management centres such as Switzerland, Luxembourg and Singapore, the company also provides IT consultancy and digital and software engineering services to major corporations.

Larsen & Toubro Infotech, headquartered in Mumbai, India, is a technology consulting and IT firm providing technology services to large companies. The group has locations across more than 30 countries worldwide and employs over 26,000 people. Larsen & Toubro Infotech is listed on the National Stock Exchange of India in Mumbai.
