CMS advises Württembergische Lebensversicherung on acquisition of Skyline residential block in Stuttgart

Stuttgart – Württembergische Lebensversicherung last week acquired the Skyline Living apartment block from the Bülow Group. Skyline Living is a 22-storey residential tower in Stuttgart’s Pragsattel district and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2017. It is the tallest residential block in Stuttgart, comprising 72 business apartments and 74 rental apartments spread over 12,800 square metres. The ground floor also features a restaurant.

A team headed by lead partner Dr Volker Zerr advised Württembergische Lebensversicherung on all legal aspects of the acquisition. The parties agreed not to disclose details of the purchase price. Dr Volker Zerr and his team specialise in property transactions and regularly advise Württembergische Lebensversicherung, most recently on the disposal of the Kurpfalz Center in Mannheim.

Württembergische Lebensversicherung is part of the Wüstenrot & Württembergische (W&W) financial group, a listed company headquartered in Stuttgart. The W&W Group was created in 1999 through the merger of the Wüstenrot and Württembergische businesses. The Group employs around 13,000 people.

Bülow AG is a Stuttgart-based property developer operating in Germany and also internationally. The company develops and implements commercial and residential real estate projects.
