CMS advises on sale of Andretta Fruchtimport GmbH

Stuttgart – The Gemüsering Group is taking a stake in Andretta Fruchtimport GmbH, primarily with the aim of strengthening its fruit and tropical fruit product areas at its location in Stuttgart. The transaction is currently awaiting approval from the competition authorities.

A CMS team headed by Dr Claus-Peter Fabian and Peter Hocke advised the majority shareholder in Andretta Fruchtimport, Mr Carlo Franceschetti, on the legal aspects of selling his stake in Andretta Fruchtimport.

Andretta Fruchtimport supplies the grocery trade in southern Germany, employing around 100 people at its site in Stuttgart’s wholesale market. The Gemüsering Group is an association of regional and international producers and marketers of fruit and vegetables. The group generated consolidated sales of more than EUR 600 million in 2016 and has around 1,500 employees.
