CMS again advises Capital Stage on successful scrip dividend

22/07/2016

Frankfurt/Main – CMS Germany has again advised Capital Stage, the Hamburg-based solar plant and wind farm operator, on payment of a scrip dividend. For the third year in a row Capital Stage has offered its shareholders the opportunity to receive the cash dividend of EUR 0.18 per share in the form of new company shares.

A team headed by lead partner Dr Andreas Zanner advised the company on all legal aspects of structuring and implementation. Capital Stage AG has relied on the expertise of CMS lawyers on a regular basis for several years, and the firm is currently also advising on the acquisition of CHORUS Clean Energy AG as part of a share swap.

Capital Stage AG is listed on the SDAX of Deutsche Börse and is one of the largest independent operators of solar parks in Germany. Its core business comprises the acquisition and operation of solar plants and (onshore) wind farms. Capital Stage AG currently operates a total of 81 solar facilities and 10 wind farms with an output of over 600 megawatt peak (MWp) in Germany, Italy, France and the UK.
