CMS successfully advises start-up Pets Deli on round of financing

01/03/2016

Berlin – Berlin-based start-up Pets Deli has gained Global Founders Capital (GFC) as an additional investor, alongside Index Ventures and Project A. The manufacturer of natural pet food has obtained an eight-figure amount in total from the three investors. The fresh round of financing will be used to accelerate the firm’s international expansion and multi-channel approach as well as developing its corporate structures.

A team led by Stefan-Ulrich Müller and Jörg Zätzsch advised Pets Deli on all legal aspects of drafting and negotiating the venture capital contract, and on preparing and executing transaction closing.

Established in 2014, Pets Deli produces natural food products for dogs and cats in 100% food grade quality. All products are free of animal by-products, slaughter waste, preservatives and flavour additives. Pets Deli sells its products online in Germany, the Netherlands and in Austria. It also has bricks and mortar stores in Berlin. The company produces the majority of its pet food products in-house.
