Cross-border CMS team advises Oakley Capital on sale of controlling stake in Parship Elite Group to ProSiebenSat.1

08/09/2016

Cologne - British private equity investor Oakley Capital has sold 50 per cent plus one share in the Parship Elite Group online dating platform to the ProSiebenSat.1 media group for EUR 100 million. The transaction is still awaiting cartel clearance.

Oakley Capital was advised on all aspects of this transaction by a cross-border team from CMS. Lead partner was London-based M&A partner Martin Treagus, who has handled a number of previous transactions for Oakley. As the entire deal documentation is governed by German law the London CMS team worked in close collaboration with a German CMS team headed by Dr Malte Bruhns.

Oakley Capital is a mid-cap private equity investor, headquartered in London and managing investments valued at over EUR 750 million, primary in Western Europe.
