International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) appoints Dr Anton Maurer to Board of Directors

The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has elected Dr Anton Maurer to the Board of Directors for a three-year term as one of three new members.

Dr Maurer is a lawyer and has been an equity partner at CMS Hasche Sigle since 1987. He specializes in international litigation and arbitration as well as international transactions and commercial law. He has been listed since 2010 in the International Who's Who of Commercial Litigation as one of 483 lawyers from 56 countries. Dr Maurer has acted for clients in more than 50 countries and 80 jurisdictions on every continent.

The IADC is a worldwide association of in-house lawyers, insurance executives and corporate defense lawyers. Established in 1920, the IADC has some 2,500 members in 40 countries and is headquartered in Chicago. Membership of the association is strictly by invitation of the Board of Directors. The IADC promotes professional development and the exchange of information on current legal issues among its members. It also organises the annual International Corporate Counsel College.
