Outsourcing at Hewlett Packard Enterprise

23/06/2016

Munich – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is transferring some of the operational IT infrastructure outsourcing services delivered via Germany to global service provider Proservia. This high-value outsourcing project is part of the international realignment of the HPE Enterprise Service business.

A team headed by lead partner Dr Markus Häuser advised Hewlett Packard Enterprise on all aspects of the project from the start.

As part of a high-value outsourcing project, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is transferring some of the operational IT infrastructure outsourcing services delivered via Germany to global service provider Proservia. Going forward, these services will be provided by a service delivery network operated together with Proservia and under the responsibility of HPE.

The US-based Hewlett Packard group was split up in the autumn of 2015: IT infrastructure, software and IT services for corporates, in particular infrastructure services, were transferred to HPE, while the PC and printer business is being continued by HP Inc. under the familiar HP brand. The outsourcing project with Proservia is one element in the international realignment of the HPE Enterprise Service business. The primary objective of the project is to ensure high service quality while also making the service mix of onshore and offshore resources more flexible in line with the specific needs of HPE customers. Some 900 HPE employees in Germany will be transferred to the new service provider and will support the growth of its onshore services for HPE and other customers.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is one of the world's biggest providers of IT infrastructure, software and IT services. It is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.

Eschborn-based Proservia GmbH is a subsidiary of the ManpowerGroup.
