Proact advised by CMS on acquisition of German IT firm Teamix

Munich – The Proact IT Group has acquired all the shares in German company Teamix GmbH. The Swedish group used its own shares and cash to purchase Teamix, an IT service provider that focuses on IT infrastructure. Teamix will become part of Proact’s Business Unit West and will continue to operate as a separate entity under the name Proact IT Germany GmbH. The acquisition of Teamix GmbH is intended to accelerate the growth of the Proact IT Group in Germany.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Martin Kolbinger advised the Proact IT Group on all legal aspects of the transaction.

Established in 1994, Proact is a leading independent provider of computer centre and cloud services in Europe. Through its cloud service operations, Proact currently manages 70 petabytes of information worldwide. The Swedish company has more than 720 employees and operates in 15 European countries and in the US.

Teamix is an IT solutions provider headquartered in Nuremberg. The firm specialises in the development and implementation of solutions for networks, storage, virtualisation and data back-up in conjunction with cloud and managed services. Teamix has 85 employees and generates annual sales of around EUR 35 million.
