In addition to his role as professor of private business law at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, Christian is an in-house dispute resolution consultant at the firm’s Stuttgart office, where he previously worked as a lawyer for several years.

Apart from his expertise in German and international procedural and arbitration law Christian has special experience in commercial, corporate and civil law. His practice particularly focusses on collective redress mechanisms, shareholder disputes and issues relating to the digitalisation of law.

Christian joined CMS in 2015 and has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in London since 2020.
