Jens Neitzel advises German as well as internationally operating companies in regulated industries, particularly in the telecoms, postal, rail and media sectors. Drawing on his proven regulatory and competition law expertise, he drafts and negotiates sector specific contracts and advises on transactions. In case of dispute, Jens also represents his clients in German and European court cases and proceedings. He is particularly rated for his creative and solution-driven advice.

Before joining CMS in 2002 as a partner, Jens headed Legal & Regulatory Affairs at BT Ignite GmbH & Co. in Munich and prior to that the telecommunications law department of VIAG Interkom GmbH & Co. From 1997 to 1999, he worked as legal counsel, respectively assistant director in the Regulatory and Competition Affairs Division of Deutsche Telekom AG in Bonn.
