Based at CMS Duesseldorf, Thomas Heidemann advises clients on their Eastern European business. After 25 years of advising on business activities in Russia, his related practice is currently limited to advising on sanctions law and supporting his clients’ withdrawal from Russia. Additionally, Thomas Heidemann has taken over the management of the Ukrainian Desk, which supports European companies in their activities in Ukraine. In Eastern Europe, Thomas, together with the CEE German Desk, advises on investments primarily in the automotive, environmental technology and renewable energy sectors.
