12/07/2013

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre acted as adviser to Gaumont during its purchase of Fideline Films, owned by Pierre Richard.

The film group Gaumont has purchased Fideline Films, owned by actor/director Pierre Richard, and which has around fifteen films to its name, including La Chèvre, Les Compères, Les Fugitifs, Le Jumeau and C’est pas moi c’est lui.

This purchase will boost Gaumont’s current catalogue of almost one thousand very diverse works (films, documentaries, series, animated films etc.) and will allow Gaumont to pursue its policy of restoring and using its cultural assets.

Gaumont was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre; Bruno Peillon (Partner), Thomas Bortoli and Cécile Leclerc advised on Corporate/M&A aspects, and Christophe Frionnet (Partner) advised on fiscal aspects.

Fideline itself was advised by Yves Joubeaud and Henri Choukroun.
