CHÂTEAU DE VERSAILLES HOTEL PROJECT

CMS FRANCIS LEFEBVRE AVOCATS ADVISED CAISSE DES DEPOTS

07/06/2018

CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats assisted Caisse des Dépôts in the context of its investment, along with Lov & Ducasse, in GHCV, which is carrying the financing and will develop an upmarket hotel in the Grand Contrôle and Petit Contrôle buildings and the first hundred steps pavilion of the Château de Versailles.

This exceptional project will provide a prestigious, 5-star hotel with twenty or so rooms and a French Haute Cuisine restaurant. The decoration of the building will be classical and refined, in the style of the 18th century.

For this project, Caisse des Dépôts was advised by CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats with Arnaud Hugot (partner), Thomas Hains (counsel), and Pierre Bondu (associate) on the Corporate/M&A aspects, and François Tenailleau (partner) and Sophie Weill (associate) on the Public Law aspects.

Lov & Ducasse was advised by BDGS with Lucile Gaillard (partner) and Inès Datchary and Paul Truck on the Corporate/M&A aspects; Fairway with Emmanuel Cazin (partner) on the Property Law aspects; Reinhart Marville Torre with Lionel Levain (partner) on the Public Law aspects; and Sekri Valentin Zerrouk with Emmanuelle Vicidomini, (partner), and Alexane Felisi and Paul Tecklenburg on the financing aspects.

The banking pool represented by BNP Paribas was assisted by Hogan Lovells, with Sabine Bironneau (partner) and Isabelle Rivallin.
