CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advises EFFIA on the acquisition of a stake in SAEMES

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised EFFIA, the parking subsidiary of the Keolis group, regarding the acquisition of a 33.27% stake in the Paris SAEMES (semi-public limited parking management company) from the City of Paris, the CNPA (National Council of Automobile Professions) and the Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This acquisition makes EFFIA – the second largest parking operator with more than 141,000 spaces managed in 350 car parks – the leading industrial shareholder in SAEMES, the second largest parking operator in the Greater Paris region (€45 million in turnover and 25,000 spaces).

For this transaction, EFFIA was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, with Jean-Eric Cros (partner), Alexandre Morel and Solenne Gilles for corporate/M&A aspects, and Bredin Prat, with Olivier Billard (partner) and Ning-Ly Seng for competition law aspects.

The sellers were advised by UGGC, with Charles-Emmanuel Prieur (partner), Aurélie Bénac and Alix Amaury for corporate/M&A aspects and Corinne Khayat for competition law aspects.
