CMS teams advise Vita Group on the sale of its "thermoplastic sheeting” division - VitasheetGroup (VSG) – to German investment fund Dubag

CMS teams today announce that they advised Vita Group, one of the leading worldwide producers of cellular and industrial polymers, thermoplastic and non-woven sheeting, on the sale of its “thermoplastic sheeting” division, VitasheetGroup (VSG), to the German investment fund Dubag. Vita Group is part of a portfolio of companies owned by the American investment fund TPG Capital.

VSG is the largest and leading producer in Europe of extruded plastic sheeting, with a wide range of treatment capacities for use in a variety of industrial applications, particularly including sectors such as transport, construction, graphic arts and packaging. Through its subsidiaries, VSG operates eight production sites in Germany, Italy, France (three), the UK, Denmark and Austria.

CMS previously advised Vita Group in July 2012, on the sale by Tramico of its division manufacturing foam and various cellular materials for the automotive sectors.
