03/06/2013

The DJCE – CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre 2013 Award for the best future lawyers by team was won by the team of students comprising Domitille Birot of DJCE in Poitiers, Guillaume Nativel of DJCE in Nancy, Alexane Perillat of DJCE in Toulouse and Jean-Baptiste de Varax of DJCE in Lyon. Each member won a prize of €2,000.

Twelve DJCE students, selected by the firm on the basis of their motivation, spent the day on Monday 27 May 2013 in the offices of CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre.

Divided into three teams, they worked on the same case, in interaction with lawyers from the firm. At the end of the day, each team defended its proposals before an internal panel comprised of Philippe Grousset, Partner for Taxation, Christophe Blondeau, Partner for Corporate/M&A, Laetitia Blanloeil, Senior Partner for Labour Law and Daniel Gutmann, Partner for Taxation, member of the firm's tax doctrine team & Lecturer at the University of Paris I, Panthéon Sorbonne.

Created in 2011, the DJCE – CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre Award rewards DJCE students for their ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team – a simulation that prepares them for their future legal profession.
