First Euro PP of Axéréal: CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advisor to the lead managers

Axéréal, a leading cooperative in the grain business, has successfully issued its first private placement bond in the form of a Euro PP (maturing in 6/7 years) and has raised €150 million from a dozen private investors. This is the most significant fund-raising operation in its sector.

Through various concomitant financial operations Axéréal mobilised a total of €1.2 billion in the broader context of a plan to refinance its business and development, thus allowing the organisation to fund its growth over the next five to seven years.

For this operation CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre acted as a consultant for the lead underwriters, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and Société Générale, as well as the secondary underwriter Natixis.
