Sale of the Vignoli and Etang de l’Olivier clinics to Almaviva Santé: CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advises Ramsay Générale de Santé

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised Ramsay Générale de Santé in the sale of the Vignoli and Etang de l’Olivier clinics to the Almaviva Santé Group.

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised Ramsay Générale de Santé in the disposal by its subsidiary Compagnie Générale de Santé to the Almaviva Santé group of its capital in the Clinique Vignoli and Clinique de l’Etang de l’Olivier companies, each running healthcare facilities of the same name in the south of France, in Salon-de-Provence and Istres respectively.

The Clinique de l’Etang de l’Olivier has more than 160 hospital beds and places for inpatient and day-care admissions, as well as a home healthcare service. The Clinique Vignoli has 19 beds for inpatient surgical admissions, 40 places in its outpatient surgery and sees approximately 7,000 patients each year. The purchase of these two healthcare establishments will help Almaviva Santé to strengthen its centre of excellence in the PACA region and give new impetus to the two clinics.

The Ramsay Générale de Santé group is the leading provider of private hospital care in France. It owns more than 120 hospitals, clinics and healthcare centres, which welcomed and cared for around 1.6 million patients in 2016. The Ramsay Générale de Santé group recorded an annual turnover in excess of 2.226 billion Euros for the financial year ending 30 June 2016.
