The Almaviva Santé Group changes dimension by merging with Clinique Arago and the private hospital Group Domus Cliniques | CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advises the purchaser

Almaviva operates in the Greater Paris region. The Almaviva Santé Group changes dimension by merging with Clinique Arago and the private hospital Group Domus Cliniques.

Healthcare groups are obviously not afraid of growth. After Vedici and its current takeover of Vitalia (see below), Almaviva Santé has recently doubled in size to almost €220m in turnover and more than 2,000 beds. This follows its merger with the private hospital group Domus Cliniques – €86m in turnover - and the Parisian clinic Arago – €10m in turnover. The transaction was carried out through the contribution of Domus Cliniques securities by DV France – the holding company for Yves Journel with Madf (19%). The contribution by physicians of their securities in the Arago clinic to Almaviva, which has been in the process of an LBO with Gimv and UI Gestion since the end of 2013. Management and the doctors hold 10% of the total following the transaction. Gimv and Uf Gestion share 58.5% of the capital equally, while DV France is the main shareholder with 31.5%.
