Sophie Mahy joined the Taxation Law department (direct taxation) of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in 2007.
She specialises in direct taxation and works in particular in the area of company tax: routine matters of group taxation (assistance with matters of direct taxation, setting up and monitoring of tax integration systems, optimisation of the effective tax rate), taxation of property groups (REITs - Real Estate Investment Trusts, known in France as SIICs - Sociétés d'Investissement Immobilières Côtées, OPCIs - French Collective Real Estate Investment Organisations), merger & acquisition and restructuring operations and management and assistance with inspections and tax disputes.
