The landscape for investments in renewable energy projects is undergoing a period of significant change. Many European governments are reducing the level of support for renewable energy investments, moving away from fixed feed in tariffs towards ‘zero subsidy’. It is therefore timely to consider what key developments are on the horizon which are enabling zero subsidy renewable projects in the medium to long term.

This seminar will focus on the main themes from the jointly authored “The Zero Subsidy Renewables Opportunity” report, which explores:

  • lessons learned from recent zero subsidy projects across Europe; and
  • the key developments on the horizon that may enable a substantial pipeline of zero subsidy projects to be deployed in the future, with a panel of industry speakers providing their insights from recent experience of deploying and/or funding such projects.

The following industry experts will be joining our panel discussion:

  • Ricardo Folgado, Director, Structured Finance , Lightsource
  • Carlos Rey Micolau, Director, Infrastructure, Foresight
  • Justin Fitzhugh, Partner, Augusta & Co
