CMS advises global hospitality and food service leader Delaware North on UK acquisition

International law firm CMS has advised international food service and hospitality company, Delaware North, on the acquisition of Magicgoal Ltd, the owner of quick-service UK concepts Prime Burger, Rotisserie Chicken and Sandwich & Co.

Delaware North is a global leader in hospitality and food service, with annual revenues of over $3 billion in the sports, travel hospitality, restaurants and catering, parks, resorts, gaming, and specialty retail industries. In the UK, Delaware North operates food and beverage services at several high-profile sporting venues – including Wembley Stadium, Emirates Stadium and London Stadium – along with airport restaurants at Heathrow, London Luton, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, among others. The acquisition of Magicgoal marks the start of its development of proprietary brands in the UK.

The CMS team advising Delaware North was led by Partner David Roberts and supported by Partner Graham Chase and Associates Dan Bomsztyk and Richard Taylor.
