Duncan Weston and Danielle Drummond-Brassington recognised in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 for 2017

30 January 2017

The Lawyer Hot 100 has recognised two CMS lawyers in its 2017 report: Duncan Weston and Danielle Drummond-Brassington.

Weston is recognised for his role in driving the firm’s expansion since moving into his role as CMS Executive Partner for Global Development, including playing a central role in the lead up to its combination with Nabarro and Olswang. Meanwhile Danielle Drummond-Brassington, Head of Real Estate Disputes at CMS UK, is identified for being the force behind pushing the real estate disputes practice into the spotlight, doubling its turnover and growing the team from five lawyers to 13 since she took up the reins of the practice in 2012.

The Lawyer’s Hot 100 is an annual report gathering together the best lawyers in the UK – the most daring, innovative and creative lawyers from in-house, private practice and the Bar. The Hot 100 is hotly contested each year – this year hundreds of nominations from across the industry were made, with individual referees providing insight for the first time in what it is like to work with this year’s top lawyers.
