Tom Page is a Corporate partner, based in London and is the Global Head of the Hotels & Leisure group.

With experience across Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and Africa, Tom advises a range of international clients, including investors, developers, operators, fund managers and banks on corporate transactions such as M&A, joint ventures and corporate finance, in the hotels, leisure, real estate and technology sectors.

As developers, investors and banks need specialist advice on hotel management agreements with operators, he has developed a particular expertise in this area, publishing “The Little Blue Book Guide to Hotel Management Agreements”.

Operators have asked him to advise on their standard form management agreements. Tom is recognised as a leading expert in the hotels sector, regularly speaks at international industry events and is on the Advisory Board of the International Hotel Investment Forum and the Investment Committee of Global Hotel Network.

He is a top ranked individual for Hotels & Leisure by legal directory Chambers and recommended as a Leading Individual by Legal 500. He leads a team that is top ranked by both publications.

  • Oaktree Capital on the acquisition, joint venture, financing and subsequent disposal of the Hilton Wembley Hotel, London.
  • Limulus, advised by the Deerbrook Group, on the GBP 150m acquisition of the Ace Hotel Shoreditch, London from Starwood Capital (Winner, Hot.E Single Asset Deal of the Year 2015).
  • Sunrider International on the GBP 184m acquisition of St Ermins Hotel London, an Autograph Collection Hotel (Runner-up, Hot.E Single Asset Deal of the Year 2015).
  • Algonquin on the joint venture and asset management arrangements with Benson Elliot and Walton Street Capital for the EUR 420m acquisition of seven European hotels from Host Hotels and Resorts
