Zsófia Tari is an associate of the Antitrust, Competition and Trade Team at CMS Budapest. Before joining CMS she worked at the Hungarian Competition Authority for more than 8 years in different positions, of which last was acting deputy head of the Antitrust Section. She deepened her competition law expertise when she worked for the Competition Division of Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) from 2011-2013.

Zsófia has extensive experience in cartels and other horizontal agreements, vertical agreements, abuse of dominant position cases and mergers. She led in-depth investigations and actively contributed to legislative measures. Besides the competition supervision procedures she has worked on several projects and sector inquiries e.g. online markets, motor vehicle sector, fuel market.

She acted as a speaker on different conferences and seminars in the area of competition law. She was an active member of the European Competition Network (ECN) in the Online Sales as well as in the Vertical Restrains Subgroups between 2013-2016.
