    A com­pany re­gistered in and gov­erned by the laws of one EU mem­ber state should be per­mit­ted to “con­vert” it­self in­to a com­pany gov­erned by the laws of an­oth­er EU mem­ber state, provided it sat­is­fies the rel­ev­ant con­di­tions laid down by the des­tin­a­tion state.

    New mer­ger fil­ing thresholds in Italy 
    From 29 Au­gust 2017, ac­cord­ing to the new Law on Mar­ket and Com­pet­i­tion (Law n. 124/2017), mer­gers have to be filed with the Itali­an Com­pet­i­tion Au­thor­ity where: The com­bined turnover of all the un­der­tak­ings con­cerned ex­ceeds € 492 mil­lion in Italy.
