Your Guide to Data Protection in CEE

We are delighted to share the third edition of Your Guide to Data Protection in CEE.

This guide aims to provide you with an overview of the various national personal data protection frameworks that exist in CEE, particularly in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine, we have provided legal assistance in each of these jurisdictions for many years.

For your convenience, the guide has been structured in a question and answer format. Drawing on our extensive experience in handling personal data protection matters across the region, we have selected questions that we believe you should be asking when planning, implementing or evaluating personal data protection policies. The guide is divided into chapters, each of which answers similar questions in respect of a different jurisdiction.

We received excellent feedback from the market about previous editions and hope that you will find this year's version equally interesting.

Tailor-made training is also available. Please contact the relevant country contact listed in the guide for more details.

Please note that the guide and its contents do not constitute legal advice. Professional legal advice should be sought when navigating through any data protection issues.
