CMS DSB ranks 5th in PropertyNL’s top 20 property lawyers rankings

PropertyNL has published the annual top 20 property lawyers rankings. CMS Derks Star Busmann was awarded fifth place based on the number of property lawyers in our firm.

This year, in contrast to previous years, during which the rankings were premised on transaction volume, PropertyNL also performed an analysis based on the number of transactions, subdividing that number according to property speciality: property transactions, project and area-specific development and financing transactions.

According to PropertyNL, based on our transactions over the last year, CMS DSB is in the top 5 in the area of Project and Area-Specific Development.

They also noted the following: '...given their list of completed transactions, CMS will long hold a top position in the Netherlands. This is consistent with the survey entitled "Bar Standings 2010" [De Stand van de Advocatuur 2010], which shows that the office is one of the 10 largest in the Netherlands. Given the rankings according to number of property attorneys employed, CMS has even achieved 5th place. The list of completed transactions implies that the office is primarily active in the field of building and area-specific development. They would thus receive a top ranking in this area as well.'
