CMS advises Colliers International on its acquisition of a majority stake in Boer Hartog Hooft

CMS Derks Star Busmann has advised Colliers International from Canada in connection with its acquisition of a 51% equity stake in Amsterdam’s leading commercial real estate services firm, Boer Hartog Hooft, and the merger of its Amsterdam business activities with those of Boer Hartog Hooft.

Colliers is the world’s second largest commercial real estate services brand with more than 15,000 employees operating out of 480 offices in 61 countries revenues of nearly US$ 2 billion. Colliers forms part of FirstService Corporation, whose shares are listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.

Boer Hartog Hooft, incorporated in 1893, is one of the oldest and most respected commercial real estate brokerage and advisory companies in the Amsterdam region.

Corporate partner Roman Tarlavski led the team comprising Martijn van der Bie, Damia van Laarhoven, Jan Willem Huizink (all corporate) and Aysegul Avci (employment).
