CMS advises IOI Loders Croklaan on the sale of product lines

CMS has advised Lipid Nutrition, a subsidiary of IOI Loders Croklaan, on the sale of its Clarinol®, Marinol® and Pinnothin® product lines to Stepan Company. These product lines concern nutritional fats used as dietary supplements, infant nutritional products and appetite suppressants.

IOI Loders Croklaan is a subsidiary of IOI Corporation Bhd, the leading Malaysian palm oil plantation group and a key global producer of oils, fats and nutritional ingredients. IOI Corporation employs over 30,000 people worldwide and has annual revenues of over $ 4 billion.

The acquired product lines will be integrated in the Food and Health Specialties business of Stepan Company, a leading producer of specialty and intermediate chemicals used in consumer products and industrial application. Stepan Company employs approximately 1,500 people worldwide and has annual revenues of $ 1.4 billion.

Corporate partner Roman Tarlavski led the team consisting of Arne van Bijnen and Irthe Goudriaan (Corporate), Katja van Kranenburg (Employment) Paul Hulshof and Etienne Cox (Tax).
