Tim Wilms is a lawyer in the Employment & Pensions Practice Group at CMS.

He is mainly involved in individual and collective employment law and advises on issues such as employee participation, transfer of undertakings, reorganisations, redundancy matters and amendments to employment terms and conditions.

In addition, Tim has experience in sports law and in advising sports associations and federations, as well as athletes, on sports law-related issues. Tim frequently gets involved as a clerk during disciplinary procedures and publishes regularly in sports-related journals.

Tim has worked at CMS since 2013, first as a paralegal and since February 2015 as a lawyer. He previously worked as an intern at the T.M.C. Asser Institute.

For the second time in re­cent months the Dutch Gam­ing Au­thor­ity (DGA) has im­posed a fine on an off­shore on­line bet­ting op­er­at­or. The DGA fined WHG (In­ter­na­tion­al) Lim­ited, also known as Wil­li­am Hill, EUR 300,000 for of­fer­ing on­line gambling without a li­cence.
