Seminar: Rail projects - protecting the invterests of investors

[External Location] CMS Polska 28 Floorul. Emilii Plater 53 Warsaw

In most cases the realisation of infrastructure projects involves overcoming a number of obstacles, including legal ones. In our experience, the best way to limit these obstacles or minimise their negative effects is to take appropriate measures at an early stage of the investment process. We will discuss such problems related to railway projects and suggest proposals for their solution during this seminar, to which you are cordially invited.

The programme includes:

  • Mistakes made by contracting authorities and contractors in the investment process – mistakes at the project preparation stage and during the execution of construction contracts;
  • Employer-contractor relations – documenting activities;
  • Additional works – when is a contractor due remuneration for additional works?
  • Delays in works and the work schedule – how events during the investment process can change the work schedule and critical path (Mr Paweł Szymański – Ekspertis Sp. z o.o. Sp. k.);
  • Exercising the right of withdrawal – the associated risks and opportunities.
