“These promotions confirm the development of our practice areas as well as our plans for further dynamic growth in those fields”, says Małgorzata Surdek, Managing Partner at CMS Poland.

Adriana Andrzejewska, advocate in the real estate team, has been advising clients from the real estate sector for 10 years. She specialises in transaction advisory services and helps Polish and international companies throughout the entire process of selling or acquiring assets – from the legal due diligence of the real estate and negotiations, to the provision of ongoing client assistance. In her role as a counsel Adriana intends to develop CMS’s services on the hotel real estate market. She joined CMS in 2016.

Michal Bork, legal advisor in the real estate and construction department, has over 10 years’ experience of advising on construction investment projects as well as civil and administrative disputes concerning the construction sector. His area of expertise includes real estate transactions, specifically in the acquisition and sale of office properties, shopping centres and companies that own real estate. He joined CMS in 2006.

Łukasz Dynysiuk works in the tax team as part of the Corporate/M&A practice and provides advisory services within the scope of Corporate and Tax Law. His areas of expertise include tax planning and developing effective tax structures. He also has many years’ experience of advising on tax-related issues in M&A transactions. As a counsel he will support the growth of the CMS tax practice by seeking tax projects that are unrelated to the firm’s other work. He joined CMS in 2011.

Tomasz Sancewicz, legal advisor, has been working for CMS for over 12 years. His field of expertise is Labour Law. He assists Polish and international employers with a range of employment issues, including hiring staff, employee transfers, restructuring, litigation, internal investigations (such as e.g. investigations into allegations of mobbing) and relations with trade unions. He also assists in employee-related issues of mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border capital mergers. As a counsel in the Employment Group Tomasz will develop employee and compliance projects and cooperate with the White Collar and Criminal Law teams on e.g. internal employee investigations. He has been recommended by Chambers Europe for four consecutive years.

Konrad Werner, legal advisor and head of the real estate finance practice in the Warsaw CMS office. He has been practicing banking law for almost 12 years and specialises in transactions related to the financing of real estate and other investment projects. His experience also includes providing regulatory advice for the banking sector, e.g. including cross-border bank mergers, international transactions related to the securitisation of commercial bank receivables, the acquisition of majority stakes and ownership transformations. He joined CMS in 2005.

Agnieszka Ziółek, legal advisor, has 11 years’ experience and specialises in legal advisory services to banks, companies and funds on financing and finance restructuring transactions, including refinancing, bond issues and transfers of credit obligations due to ownership changes as well as restructuring processes related to financial issues. In recent years, as a member of the Restructuring Practitioners Association, she actively participated in the work of the team appointed by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Economy on amending the Bankruptcy Law and drafting the Restructuring Law. As a counsel Agnieszka will develop the restructuring services practice that she manages as part of the banking and international finance team. She has been working for CMS for 6 years.
