Izabela Biernat is a senior associate in CMS Warsaw’s Competition and Public Procurement Team. She is specialising in EU and Polish competition law, including antitrust, merger control, state aid and unfair competition.

A significant part of Izabela’s practice involves advising clients whose activity is consumer-oriented. She specialises in preparing and reviewing general terms of agreements applied by businesses as regards their compliance with consumer rights.

Her public procurement experience includes advising contracting authorities and contractors on numerous procurement projects, including drafting legal remedies and representing clients before the National Appeal Chamber (KIO).
