Krzysztof Sikora is a Senior Associate in the Competition Department.

Krzysztof joined CMS after 5 years in the Competition Protection Department at the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. He has experience in conducting explanatory and antitrust proceedings on the part of the regulator in cases concerning competition protection in the financial, telecommunications, intellectual property and new technologies sectors. He has represented the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection before courts in the course of appeal proceedings. He was also involved in verifying the compliance with competition law of activities undertaken by business entities, including applied distribution systems.

On numerous occasions Krzysztof has participated in controls of concentrations, in particular he has provided opinions on draft decisions related to notifications of concentrations.

Krzysztof has managed groups carrying out unannounced inspections and searches of business entities and has participated in searches carried out by the European Commission.

He has provided assessments of notifications submitted to the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and prepared replies to the notifiers.

Krzysztof has also participated in working groups of the European Competition Network (ECN), and has conducted proceedings in cooperation with the European Commission concerning violations of EU competition law.
